Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how HADMS SOLUTIONS PVT LTD, through the RideSeva application and related services, collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use RideSeva.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on use of the Platform, we may collect name, mobile number, email, profile information, booking details, pickup/destination, trip information, location data, device information, diagnostics, payment status and support communications.
2. How We Use Information
Information may be used to create and manage accounts, process bookings, match users with drivers, provide pickup and destination services, track trips, calculate fares, process payments, send OTPs and notifications, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain security, improve services and comply with law.
3. Location Data
Location information may be processed for pickup matching, navigation, trip tracking, driver location display, safety and other transportation functionality. Depending on the feature and device permission, location may be processed while the app is in use and, where necessary for an active trip or matching function, in the background. Users can control permissions through device settings.
4. Sharing Information
Necessary information may be shared with assigned drivers, agencies, payment providers, SMS/OTP providers, cloud and hosting providers, mapping/location providers, support providers, security/fraud-prevention providers and government authorities where legally required.
5. Driver Information Displayed to Users
During a confirmed booking, relevant driver and vehicle information may be shown, including driver name, profile image where applicable, vehicle number, vehicle type, rating and live location during an active trip.
6. Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. RideSeva may receive transaction identifiers and payment status. Complete card credentials may be handled by the payment provider rather than stored by RideSeva.
7. Data Retention
Information is retained for periods reasonably necessary to provide services, comply with legal and financial obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain records and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ by data type.
8. Security
RideSeva uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, users may have rights relating to access, correction, withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis of processing, deletion/erasure where legally applicable and grievance redressal.
10. Withdrawal of Consent
Where processing is based on consent, users may withdraw consent through available mechanisms or by contacting RideSeva. Withdrawal may affect services that require the relevant information.
11. Children
RideSeva is not intended to independently collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. Bookings involving children should be made and managed by a parent or lawful guardian.
12. Cookies and Similar Technologies
RideSeva websites and online services may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics and functionality.
13. Third-Party Services
Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy policies, including providers for payments, maps, analytics, cloud infrastructure, SMS, OTP, notifications and customer support.
14. International Processing
Some service providers may process information using infrastructure outside India, subject to applicable law and appropriate contractual and security measures.
15. Data Breaches
RideSeva will take appropriate steps required by applicable law and regulations in response to a personal-data security incident.
16. Policy Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The latest version will be made available through the Platform.
